BLUSH + DISTRESSED DENIM - KCFW FW'17 MEDIA MEET 'N' GREET OOTD

I love Spring for the Fashion, and hate it for the allergies. I have repeated these lines to death, this week. When its a week long celebration of Fashion, its so much fun putting outfits together. As I was discussing in my previous post, that this season of Kansas City Fashion Week, I wanted to focus my outfits on certain trends, which I love. Spring - Summer trends to be more accurate. I was almost celebrating #NationalStripesDay with my first Outfit, at the KCFW Kick off at Kendra Scott. The second event, that I attended, this season, was the Media Meet 'n' Greet held at a boutique in downtown Kansas City. Stay tuned to my next post, for a detailed Recap of the event .

I am always in love with all things Blush. Yes, I can wear Blush through out the year and even shop for more Blush. So its not strange that Blush has featured in many previous Posts. If you wanted to read about them, then click Here, Here and Here. I wanted to keep the outfit very feminine, very every day casual chic, yet have my signature styling touch. My problem area is my tummy region, and I dont wear Spanx. This beautiful Linen Peplum Top from Francesca's stole my heart, when I was shopping a few weeks back. I knew I had to bring it home. I loved it so much, that I wore it for two different occasions, and styled them completely differently. That's the versatility of this top , I guess. Linen is a great fabric, when you are transitioning from the heavier knits, and the lace detail, adds that extra feminine touch.

I am a Denim person, Why not celebrate that! I did not fit into my old distressed denim any more. And was on the look out for a new pair. Not only did I find a great pair , in a beautiful shade of Blue, but it fit like a dream. Did I mention, it also had this season's hottest denim trend - the Step Hem. The denim was a lovely canvas to show off the delicate blush top.

Now for accessories. Nude Pumps and my Nude Zara Tote had to be there. The top was a tad cropped, to my liking, so I paired a hot pink belt, which almost played peek - a boo in the outfit. I am a hoarded of Silver jewelery and keep adding to my stash. It was time to shop into my silver closet for the right touch of Bling.
